Bridian House is an independent publishing house committed to producing meaningful books and supporting the authors who create them.
Founded by Irish-American philosopher J.C. Augustus Lai Andurin, our goal is to educate and entertain our readers while collaborating with new and established authors to cultivate a community of authorship which promotes awareness, equity, and cooperation. At the heart of our model is a belief in collaboration and care, and every author who publishes with Bridian House is partnered with a dedicated publishing agent, a single point of contact who oversees the entire publication process working closely with the author to realize their vision. This structure allows for a more personal, responsive, and integrated publishing experience.
Our royalty model is designed to reflect a true partnership between author and publisher. Authors receive a 50% royalty in the first year of publication, which gradually increases to 90% by year five. Publishing agents receive a share of the royalties retained by Bridian House for three years following publication, ensuring that everyone involved is aligned in their investment and support of the author’s long-term success.
Bridian House is more than a publisher. We’re building a creative community centered around craft and purpose, because we believe that publishing should be both a professional and a human endeavor, where authors are respected and ideas are nurtured.
